During your Sojourn in South America, Amanda Foshee will be your dedicated Brownell host for the duration of the trip. As the liaison between the group and your local partners, hotels, and workspaces, Amanda will take care of any issues that come up so you can focus on fully immersing yourself in the destination. If you’ve got questions, Amanda’s got answers.
Amanda fell in love with travel during high school. After a stint as a CPA, she decided to turn her passion for travel into her career and joined Brownell. Amanda loves any opportunity to explore the world, and in 2015 she and her husband spent three months living and working remotely in France. That experience combined with her tenure as a luxury travel advisor gives her a deep understanding of what American travelers need while working abroad.
Amanda loves all kinds of travel, especially anything that involves local food (silk worms in Vietnam) and adventure (off-roading in Iceland). Working with her network of worldwide contacts, she plans trips for clients across the globe, from hiking the Inca Trail in Peru to African safaris to European river cruises. In 2015, she was named as one of Travel Agent’s Top 30 Under 30. When she’s not out discovering new destinations, Amanda is based in Birmingham with her husband Doug.
